How can I buy a Life Pass?
Buy online <<here>>. If you’d like to apply for the finance plan payment option, this will need to be done manually by completing a form and emailing to our Finance team. Download the application form <<here>>.
Do I have to pay extra if I use my credit or debit card? Which card types do you accept?
We accept Visa and Mastercard. There is a 1.75% fee applicable to all card purchases made online or over the phone. Other payment options are available if you would prefer to avoid this fee.
Can I pay using a Gem Visa card, Q card or American Express?
Your Gem Visa can be used like any other visa card. Please note there is a 1.75% fee applicable to all credit card payments.
We do not accept American Express or Q card as a payment method.
Can I pay by bank transfer?
Yes! We have just added ‘Account 2 Account’ as a payment method for online transactions. Simply select this option instead of credit card at the checkout. You will be directed to a payment page which requires you to log in to your online banking service for a New Zealand account with one of the following banks:

I'm having trouble with an Account 2 Account payment. Is there a limit to how much I can spend using this method?
Our payment provider doesn't set any limits on Account 2 Account payments, however your bank may impose a limit on the amount you can spend in a day or transaction. Please contact your bank if you have any issues or would like information specific to your account.
I don’t want to buy online. Is there another option?
If you’d prefer not to purchase online, you can download the application form <<here>> and post to our Customer Relations team with a completed cheque, or a phone number so we can contact you for credit card details. Alternatively, if you are in the Taupo area you visit our team in person and pay with cash or EFTPOS, at Mt Ruapehu Snow HQ, 32a Roberts St, Taupo 3330.
Is there a finance option available?
Yes! We offer a 24 or 36-month finance plan @ 6.5% interest. You must complete an application which will be reviewed by our Finance team. Should your finance application be accepted, a one-off admin fee of $50 applies along with a deposit of $950 per Life Pass/$1200 per Life+ Pass. When would the finance payments be deducted from my account, and how much would each one be?
Payments will be deducted on the 15th of each month, with the first installment deducted on June 15th, 2019. The amount of your installments will depend on your individual plan, as these will be based on how many passes you purchase, and the length of the term. Please see the Finance application form which includes example disclosure agreements <<here>>.
If I choose to finance my purchase, can I repay early?
Yes! You will need to get in touch with our finance team via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. There are no additional charges or penalties for early repayment.
What happens if I apply for finance but am rejected after the sale closes?
We will put you in touch with our Customer Relations team and give you the option to purchase the Life Pass(es) that you had planned to finance.
What happens if I default on a monthly installment?
Should you default on a payment, our finance team will contact you directly to arrange payment. Should you continue to default on your payments, your pass(es) will be suspended until you have paid all arrears in full.
Can I make additional payments to my loan?
Yes! You will need to get in touch with our finance team via email at email@example.com. There are no additional charges or penalties for additional payments.
